Cultivation
It is a perennial and can be sown or replanted as a mature plant. It grows above 7 °C (45 °C), the optimum temperatures for growth being around 20 °C (68 °C).
Distance between plants
At least 30 cm (12 in) between bunches.
Location
Sunny to half-shaded.
Amount
Two bunches per family are enough.
Time of planting
It can be sown as early as in January. The seed germinates in two weeks.

With home compost.

It doesn’t need a lot of water.

Diseases and pests
It is not very sensitive, but it is better not to plant it near other bulb vegetables to protect it from onion fly.

Cut leaves regularly when they get 15 cm (6 in) long. Store in the freezer.

Use leaves as a spice with a lot of vitamins and minerals.

The more you cut it the more it grows.
